The sub-prefecture of Grasse is the administrative centre for the whole arrondissement, 62 communes running from Antibes and Cannes up into the villages behind them. It is open to the public Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 1pm, and the counter is reserved for information and for procedures handled by France Titres. A digital access point is available on site for people who need help completing online procedures.
What that means in plain terms: you cannot simply turn up and hand over a residence file. The application goes through the ANEF portal, and the counter is not a substitute for it. Knowing this before you drive down and queue saves a morning.
